The original art is owned by James Gurney, he acquired it 25 years ago....

James Gurney never knew where it was published -- until I found the magazine in May 2013!
It was in REDBOOK April 1950
And we discovered something rather shocking about it!
Long ago someone had cut off the right side of the painting -- James Gurney had never seen the *entire* illustration until I sent it to him!
